Overview
Sixy Inc., trading as Realbuildersocial.com (“Realbuildersocial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to respecting your right to control your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy (“Policy”) explains how you can request the deletion of your personal data, what data is deleted, what data may be retained and why, and the timeline within which we will process your request.
This Policy applies to all data collected through realbuildersocial.com, app.realbuilder.com, and all subdomains operated by Sixy Inc.. It is designed to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the data deletion requirements of Facebook/Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and TikTok.
1. Your Right to Deletion
You have the right to request that we delete the personal data we hold about you. This right applies to:
- Your account and profile information
- Content generated through the Platform
- Social media account connections and associated tokens
- Subscription and billing history (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Usage and analytics data associated with your account
- Any other personal information we hold about you as described in our Privacy Policy
Deleting your data will result in the permanent closure of your account and the loss of access to all Platform features. This action cannot be undone.
2. How to Submit a Data Deletion Request
You may request the deletion of your data through any of the following methods:
Method 1 — In-App Account Deletion
Log in to your account at app.realbuilder.com, navigate to Account Settings, and select “Delete My Account.” Follow the prompts to confirm. This will initiate the data deletion process immediately.
Method 2 — Email Request
Send an email to privacy@realbuildersocial.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” Include the following information to allow us to verify your identity:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your Realbuildersocial account
- Your account username or user ID (if known)
Method 3 — Facebook / Meta Data Deletion Callback
If you connected your account to Realbuildersocial using Facebook Login, you can request deletion of your data directly through Facebook. Go to: Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites > find Realbuildersocial > Remove. If Facebook notifies us of a deletion request through their data deletion callback URL, we will process your deletion request in the same manner as a direct request.
You can also submit a deletion request directly to us by emailing privacy@realbuildersocial.com with the subject “Facebook Data Deletion Request.”
3. Verification
To protect your data, we will verify your identity before processing any deletion request. Verification may include confirming the email address associated with your account and asking you to confirm a security action from within your account. We will not process requests we cannot verify.
4. What We Delete
Upon processing a verified deletion request, we will permanently delete or irreversibly anonymize the following:
- Your account profile, including name, email address, profile picture, and account settings
- Your business profile information entered during onboarding
- AI-generated content and drafts stored in the Platform
- Scheduled and pending social media posts that have not yet been published
- Connected social media account tokens and OAuth credentials (note: this does not remove any posts already published to social media platforms — you must delete those directly from the respective platform)
- Platform usage history and activity logs associated with your account
- Customer support correspondence (except where retention is legally required)
5. What We May Retain
Certain data may be retained after your deletion request for the following reasons and time periods:
- Billing and financial records: We are required to retain billing records, invoices, and transaction data for a minimum of 7 years under Canadian tax and financial regulations. This data will be stored securely and not used for any other purpose.
- Legal and compliance obligations: We may retain data necessary to comply with a legal obligation, defend against a legal claim, or enforce our Terms of Use, for the duration of the relevant legal proceeding or obligation.
- Anonymized/aggregated data: We may retain data that has been fully anonymized and can no longer be linked to you for product analytics and business intelligence purposes.
- Backup systems: Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days, after which it will be permanently purged from all backup systems.
- Published social media content: Content that has already been published to social media platforms through the Service is not within our control. You must delete such content directly from the relevant social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok).
6. Processing Timeline
We are committed to processing data deletion requests promptly:
- Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 5 business days
- Identity verification: We will complete identity verification within 10 business days
- Data deletion: We will complete deletion of your personal data within 30 days of a verified request
- Confirmation: We will send you a written confirmation once deletion is complete
- Backup purge: Residual data in encrypted backups will be purged within 90 days of the original deletion
If we are unable to fulfill your request (in whole or in part) due to a legal retention requirement, we will notify you of the reason within the same 30-day period.
7. Social Media Platform-Specific Deletion
Because Realbuildersocial.com integrates with multiple social media platforms, please note the following platform-specific information:
Facebook / Meta
Revoking Realbuildersocial’s access through your Facebook App Settings will disconnect our access to your Facebook account. To also delete any data we collected through the Facebook integration, submit a deletion request as described above. We maintain a Facebook Data Deletion Callback endpoint as required by Meta’s Platform Policy.
Revoking access through your Instagram App Settings will disconnect our access. Contact us to request deletion of any data collected through the Instagram integration.
Revoke access through your LinkedIn App Settings. Contact us to request deletion of any data collected through the LinkedIn API integration.
X (Twitter)
Revoke access through your X App Permissions settings. Contact us to request deletion of any data collected through the X API integration.
TikTok
Revoke access through your TikTok Connected Apps settings. Contact us to request deletion of any data collected through the TikTok API integration.
Revoking access on a platform prevents future data collection but does not delete historical data. You must submit a deletion request directly to us to have historical data deleted.
8. Right to Complain
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data deletion request, you have the right to file a complaint with the applicable privacy authority:
- Canada: Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (www.priv.gc.ca)
- European Union/EEA: Your local Data Protection Authority (DPA)
- California: California Attorney General (oag.ca.gov/privacy)
